Tower of London

I guess you can go to London without visiting the Tower of London, but for me it was one of the highlights during our short, but intense weekend there.
Tower Bridge in the morning sun
I am always filled with such awe when I visit historical places. It is something about knowing that the world I live in, was shaped here.
The White Tower seen from outside Traitors' Gate
With our limited amount of time, we prioritized the Crown Jewels and a guided tour with a Yeoman Warder. If I get a chance to go there again, I'll visit the White Tower.
A Yeoman Warder
Since we had such a limited amount of time, and there were so many things we wanted to see, we decided on buying a London Pass. It was especially worth the money when it came to Tower of London since it made it possible for us to avoid the long ticket lines.

What is your London highlight?

  1. Hi! Your pictures are fab! (Nb I am so not a photographer) Haven't been to London yet, but definitely interested in going. Though being from Australia means probably having to go longer than a few days!
I'm new to blogging too, but so far I think your content is great :-)

    1. Yay, my first comment!
One of the perks of living in Europe, is that you have so many countries and cities just 2-3 hrs away and can go there for just a weekend. I would not go to Australia for a weekend either :)
